Judkins walks into camp with no limitations and a lot to prove

A fractured fibula and a dislocated ankle at the same time is the kind of injury that makes you hold your breath about what comes next. For Quinshon Judkins, a rookie running back with the Cleveland Browns, that was December.

The surgery happened. The offseason happened. And now, heading into training camp, Judkins has been cleared with no limitations whatsoever — full go, same as everyone else on the roster.

For a young running back, the first training camp is supposed to be the moment you start showing what you are. Judkins missed that clean entry. What he gets instead is a different kind of beginning: the one where you come back and show you're still the same player after something that would have ended someone else's year before it started.

That's not a small thing to ask of a body. It's also not a small thing to answer.
