The first-string quarterback is sitting out training camp, and that means someone else gets the reps. For the Los Angeles Rams, that someone is Stetson Bennett.

Bennett came to the Rams as a late-round pick who had won a national championship in college, then took a personal leave before joining the team. He has been a project-in-waiting — a player whose ceiling nobody fully knows yet because the snaps have been hard to come by.
