Outside Linebacker · Atlanta Falcons
Jalon Walker
No. 11 · 2nd season
Tests confirmed it. Jalon Walker's season — and then some — is gone.
There are moments in a young player's career where the calendar just stops. For Jalon Walker, that moment came in a medical room, not on a field.
Walker had been building something real with the Atlanta Falcons as a young edge rusher — someone whose whole job is to get after the quarterback and make things uncomfortable for the offense. That kind of role takes time to grow into, and Walker was in the middle of doing exactly that.
Then the tests came back. A torn ACL — one of the most serious knee injuries a player can suffer — confirmed what the Falcons feared. Walker won't play in 2026.
A full season lost before it starts. At a position where everything is timing, burst, and feel, a year on the sideline is more than just time. It is a reset of momentum, a hold on everything Walker was building toward.
The work does not stop here. But the path just got longer.
