The pecking order at training camp is supposed to be simple. Higher draft pick, more trust, more reps with the ones. Hezekiah Masses apparently didn't get the memo.

Masses came in as a fifth-round pick — the kind of selection teams make with a quiet optimism and modest expectations. Nobody circled his name on the depth chart. The conversation going into camp centered elsewhere.
