Deshaun Watson tore his Achilles during the 2024 season and spent months away from the field. On Saturday, he took the field for the Cleveland Browns' first preseason game against the Chicago Bears, starting the first half and playing the full two quarters.

Watson completed 126 yards of passing in the half. The Browns lost the game. Head coach Todd Monken praised Watson's performance after it was over.
